BARRIL  ISSUE
ON THE POSTAGE DUES

As the Civil War progressed, stamps were often re-issued by adding some overprint and/or another. Below is a situation where postage due stamps were pressed into use as regular postage stamps by overprinting a "barril" in various values.

Brown 5 centavos barril on 1 centavo.
	Violet 10 centavos barril on 2 centavos.
Brown 20 centavos barril on 4 centavos.
	Green 25 centavos barril on 5 centavos.
Red 60 centavos barril on 10 centavos.
	Red 1 peso barril on 1 centavos.
Red 1 peso barril on 2 centavos.
	Red 1 peso barril on 4 centavos.
Red 1 peso barril on 5 centavos.
	Red 1 peso barril on 10 centavos.
